Around this time of year the school’s results for 2014 start to be fully analysed against other schools across the country. One organisation which carries out such analysis is the Fischer Family Trust which is a charity aimed at improving the quality of data in schools.
In it’s 2014 report it compares Woodcote with other schools nationally and shows trends over the last three years. In order to be fair, the data has been adjusted to take account of changes to examinations and syllabuses to try and get a balanced look at how schools have been performing.
The report makes very positive reading in the main for Woodcote teachers, governors, parents, and students. There are of course things we could, and will continually try to improve, but overall the picture is good.
